Thank you to everyone for coming out last night! It was an amazing event, full of surprises – with Natalie’s visit being the best surprise of all! Natalie had a grand time and couldn’t stop dancing, singing, and grinning from ear to ear… along with the other children and adults nearby.
The face painting and photo booth were a huge hit! Check out some of the hilarious moments forever caught on digital film on our new Photos page. Or go to Laurie Johnson Photography’s gallery page to download the high resolution images.
And for you, tagging fools, I just uploaded the images to Natalie’s FaceBook page! Enjoy!

Meet Natalie, the cutest 3-year-old ever.
On Christmas Eve 2012, she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Although her prognosis for a full recovery is good, her leukemia was deemed high risk, which means she will receive intense chemotherapy for the next 2 1/2 years to help ensure that it does not relapse.
During her first few months of treatment, Natalie suffered from recurring pneumonia, an intestinal infection, high fevers, and a large seizure that compounded her leukemia and required additional invasive procedures, treatments and hospital stays to get her well.
But she’s a trooper! Her sparkly and spunky spirit has continued to shine through. She amazes the doctors and nurses who are caring for her with her resilience and ability to beat the odds. We are humbled by her grace and courage and she helps to keep us all strong.
Natalie enjoys watching Disney movies, playing in the hospital playroom, and ordering her parents and the nurses around! I told you she was the cutest 3-year-old ever.
